Hello fellow Deviants! I haven't been on lately and I'll tell you why. Instead of playing Metroid on the computer, I went to Ralph's Records and bought the NES METROID FOR THE GAMEBOY ADVANCE! It was only twelve dollars. I've already beaten it and have gotten all the upgrades(Screw Attack is my favorite.) I have improved compared to my last journal entry where I couldn't even get past Brinstar. It is a very addictive game because I was playing it all day yesterday. Ridley was easy to beat; I beat him on the first try. All I did was go in front of him and pump his face full of missiles. Kraid on the other hand, took 3 tries. I tried using the same method I used for Ridley and I got my exoskeletal face shot by spikes. Then I killed the Fake Kraid with just one missile (Fake Kraid really sucks.) Mother Brain took 2 tries. Mother Brain isn't really that hard because she doesn't do anything. it's the stupid red rings that are shooting around her that make it challenging. The Metroids (Little mini versions of Mother Brain) really pissed me off until I found out how to kill them and get them off my head when they clamp on and suck my energy.
